Apartments and location

Which Holiday Homes do you have and where are they located?
All of our apartments are located in Alghero, in a peaceful residential area close to the Maria Pia beach; they are split across 4 buildings: Casa Lina, Casa Ilaria and Casa Marta, ocated at No. 8, Via Gaudì; and then there is Casa Viale Europa, at No. 118 Viale Europa.

 

What is the composition of the apartments?
We offer 3 standard types of apartments: Type A two-room apartment (sleeping 2-3); Type B two-room apartment (sleeping 4); Type C three-room apartment (sleeping 4-6). In Casa Viale Europa, we also have a studio flat.

Is it easy to reach the seaside and the town without a car?

Yes, most definitely! All of the apartments benefit from an excellent location – just a few yards from the beaches – so it’s really very easy to get to the beach or head into town on foot, by bicycle or by bus (bus stop just 150 metres away).
In addition, with the convenient free parking available in Via Gaudì, the issue of where to put the car is eliminated completely.

We’re flying into Sardinia, so how do we get to the apartment?
You have at least 3 options to reach the holiday home from Alghero Fertilia airport (5 km away) in around 15-20 minutes: by bus (running every hour, ticket price € 1); by taxi (approximate cost, from € 20 each way); or using our transfer service (available on request, with additional charge).

Accommodation Terms & Conditions

What is the minimum period of stay?

7 nights in the months of July and August; 3 nights during the rest of the year.

Your booking does not need to start on any particular day of the week, and bookings are based on availability.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

On your arrival date, the apartment will be available from 5pm onwards (there may be the possibility to pick up the keys earlier in the day, depending on availability).

Check-out by 10am on your departure date.
To avoid waiting around, please inform us of your intended arrival time the day before (at the latest) by e-mail or telephone. 


Do you offer a luggage storage service?
Yes. If you arrive before the apartment is ready or you want to leave after the check-out time, you can store your luggage – free of charge – with us. This will allow you to go wherever you like, safe in the knowledge that your bags are in safe hands.
 
What is included in the price of the stay?
Included in the price: the selected, fully furbished apartment; electricity, water and gas; free Wi-Fi; private parking place (for the apartments at No. 8, Via Gaudì); luggage storage service (free, during the arrival or departure day).
Not included: €30 compulsory additional charge for cleaning on departure; bed linen and bath linen, available on request for a supplementary charge of €10 per person per change.

Services

Which extra services do you offer?

On request:

  • supply of linen (sheet and bathroom towels): €10 per person per change;

  • use of the air conditioner (where fitted): €10 per day;
  • use of the washing machine for guests in Via Gaudì: first wash free, subsequent washes charged at €3 per wash;
 use of the washing machine for guests in Viale Europa: with coins;
  • transfers to and from Alghero Fertilia airport: with additional charge;

  • bike hire: bike and scooter hire service is available nearby.

What is so special about the support you offer?
As our guest, you can count on:

  • the on-site availability of the owners (we live in the buildings in Via Gaudì)
  • tourist information and advice to help you get the most out of your holiday on the "Coral Riviera"
  • fluent speakers of English and German

Bookings and payments

How do I book a stay?
Using the online booking feature of our site is the easiest way to find out about availability and prices in real time – it’s also the way to get the best possible rate.
Alternatively, you can fill out the information request form or call us on 0039 39 333 4472267 (Italian, German and English) or 0039 079 952478 (Italian and German).

How do I pay?
At the time of booking, we ask you to make a down payment of 40% of the total cost, by bank transfer (the balance will be paid on arrival: cash or bank transfer or credit/debit card).

Is there a penalty if I cancel the booking?
Yes. If you cancel your stay, you will be liable for the following penalty charges:

  • up to 30 days before your scheduled check-in date: 40% of the total
  • up to 15 days before your scheduled check-in date: 75% of the total
  • 14 or fewer days before your scheduled check-in date or in the event of a “no show”: 100% of the total


How is the cost of the stay calculated? Are there compulsory additional charges?
The prices shown on the rates page are per apartment per week, based on the number of guests and the type of house.
Additionally, there is a compulsory €30 charge to cover the cost of cleaning on departure.


Are there concessions for children?
Yes. Children under the age of 2 stay for free. On request, a cot is available (though do bear in mind that we only have a limited number).


Are there special discounts for booking early or staying for longer periods?
Yes, we offer a range of attractive discounts, up to 16% off the cost of the stay!
